Implementation / Project Planner Template

A structured tracker for a multi-week implementation or rollout, phases, owners, target vs. actual dates, and status, so a cross-team launch doesn't rely on one person's memory of who owns what.

What it does
A phase-by-phase tracker for a multi-week implementation or rollout, launch date, implementation manager, and customer success manager up top, then every task grouped into phases with an Internal/External flag, who's responsible ([Company] / customer / partner), a target start date, target completion date, actual completion date, status, and a comments column.

How to use it
Replace the phase names and tasks with your own process, keep the Int/Ext and Responsibility columns, they're what make this useful as a cross-team tracker instead of just a to-do list. The workbook also includes a companion tab for planning launch marketing deployment (tactic, audience, goal, and date), useful if your rollout includes a communications push.
